Mick Webb General member Appointed by GST

Chair of the Local Committee
|
I have been a governor since May 2005 and started as a Parent Governor, progressed to a Local Authority Governor and now am a General member of the Local Committee. I coached a local football team (Ottershaw FC) for 15 years from junior to adult football and for many years refereed football at adult level. I still run fitness boot camps in the village and along with my wife, Marise still coach children in football and fitness. We also run our own Health & Wellbeing business. Outside of sport for many years I have been writing a fiction thriller and hope to finish it in the next 12 months. Being born and brought up in Leeds I am still an avid Leeds Utd supporter and have sadly influenced my 20 year old son Jack to do the same! We also have two daughters, Emily and Maddie and all three of our children attended the schools. |

Vice Chair of the Local Committee |
As a busy magazine editor - it's not always easy to help out and be involved with everything that I'd like to be. But, for me - becoming a member of the Local Committee and more recently vice chair is a way that I can try and give that little bit back. I have had two children start their education at the Infant School and am passionate, as is every parent I'm sure, for children to get the best start on their educational journey as possible. To be a part of that journey, involved in helping the school and it's amazing team be the best it can be is not only exciting and rewarding but a privilege too. |

I became a foundation member in July 2019 and subsequently a general member following academisation. I live in Ottershaw and have two children who have both attended the infant school and junior schools. In my working life I am a Family Law Consultant and in my spare time I volunteer at Homestart to help people locally who may be struggling with a young child. I am passionate about Ottershaw schools and enjoy helping and giving something back. |

Alasdair Gordon General member Appointed by the GST |
|
I became a general member at the tail-end of 2019 and am very much enjoying my time on the Local Committee. I live locally with my wife Suzi, and we have three girls - two of whom are currently at Ottershaw. I work as an Office Manager for a Member of Parliament and have worked in Westminster for over eleven years. This has spanned four General Election campaigns and two referendums - one perhaps, slightly more notable than the other! I have a particular interest in education and am currently launching a small educational project in East London called 'Donate A Workspace'. Outside of work, I enjoy cycling and playing cricket. I am also a keen supporter of Leeds United and hope that - one day - my blind loyalty will be rewarded. |
